Hubs
Besides the main Dashboard, Cosmos includes a set of hubs. Hubs are dedicated areas for important intranet topics, such as news, people, spaces, quick links and events. Each hub groups related information and actions in one place, so employees always know where to go for a specific type of content.
Some Hubs aggregate content that already exists in Confluence, while others present information that is created and managed directly in Cosmos. All hubs are optional and configurable. Intranet admins can decide which hubs to enable, how they appear in navigation, and when new hubs are introduced as the intranet grows.
Managing availability
Hubs in Cosmos are optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time. This allows Cosmos admins to align the intranet with current priorities and use cases. Hubs are controlled centrally in Cosmos settings:
Open Cosmos settings in Confluence.
Confluence or Cosmos administrator permissions needed.
Navigate to the Cosmos hubs configuration section.
Use the toggle next to each hub to turn it on or off.
When a hub is turned off, it disappears from navigation and standard entry points, while its data and configuration remain stored. Turning the Hub back on restores access without additional setup.
