Confluence Content Modules
With Confluence content modules built to customize, visualize, and organize information, it turns static content into engaging, dynamic displays.
Blogs are brought to life as interactive News.
Spaces are showcased in a more compelling way.
Pages are presented with layouts that make information easier to follow and explore.
Blogs, Pages, and Spaces made engaging
Access News, Pages, and Spaces modules in a single view. Viz makes content easy to find, simple to manage, and more engaging to explore, helping teams work faster and stay focused.
Insert module
Open the desired page or create a new one.
Enter edit mode, then click the ‘+’ icon in the toolbar or press ‘/’ on the keyboard to open the module menu.
In the search bar, type “Viz” or “Optics” and select it from the list to open the configuration dialog. Alternatively, type the specific module name (“News”, “Spaces”, etc.) directly without opening the overview page.
In the configuration dialog, either: Select a module template from the overview page, or navigate to a specific module from the left sidebar.
Dynamic filters
By setting filters in Confluence content modules, it is possible to define what type of content appears, and the macro continuously updates to match those criteria. This means blogs, pages, or spaces are always shown with the latest changes from Confluence, without the need for manual updates or extra maintenance. As a result, pages stay relevant, accurate, and engaging for every view.
For example, a News macro can be set to show all blog posts from the Marketing space, sorted by publish date. As new posts are added to those spaces, the macro updates automatically, keeping the content fresh and relevant. See image below
