The Recommended Products feature enhances the shopping experience by displaying related items based on the selected product. Admins can configure recommendations at the category level by linking items in Jira Assets. These suggestions appear on the product details page and in the shopping cart, helping users discover complementary products and improving overall satisfaction.

Steps to configure recommended products in Shoppie

  1. In Jira Assets, create a parent asset that groups categories containing products you want to select as recommendations. This parent asset serves as an organizational layer and can be hidden from the shop view.

  1. Navigate to the object type in Jira Assets where you want to configure recommended products.

  2. Add a new attribute with the type Object.

  3. Name this attribute (e.g., "Recommended Products") and set it to allow linking other assets.

  2. In General select Include Children and in Cardinality include Maximum allowed option.
