Before diving into any technical configurations, it's important to remember that foundation of a successful shop experience is the quality and completeness of product data. To achieve the best user experience with Shoppie:

  • Populate Jira Assets diligently with the products you wish to showcase in the shop.

  • Ensure that every product entry is comprehensive, including detailed descriptions, images, pricing, and any other relevant information.

By investing time in entering precise and detailed product data into Jira Assets, you set the stage for a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for your users.

Catalogs serve as the centralized hubs within Shoppie where configured shops, populated with relevant Jira Assets, reside. They are essential for the following reasons:

  • You have the flexibility to create multiple catalogs tailored to different needs or audiences.

  • Each catalog can be linked to distinct Jira projects, ensuring relevance and specificity. Beyond projects, you can further customize by assigning different request types to individual catalogs. This granularity ensures users find exactly what they're looking.
