Brand and Colors

Paint Cosmos in your brand colors

When it comes to building a strong corporate identity, nothing beats the power of brand and colors. Incorporating these elements will create a sense of consistency throughout your intranet.

Brand and Colors can only be changed by the admin of the Confluence instance.

Navigate to the settings icon in the sidebar and select.
Navigate to Theming → Brand and Colors, and select.
Click the Edit logo button to upload and adjust your logo image.
1. Upload an image file (PNG, GIF, JPEG, or ICO). The maximum file size is 2MB. The image should be square and at least 48 x 48 pixels for best results. Maximum image size is 150kb.
2. Adjust the image and zoom in and out if needed.
3. Click Apply.
Select your desired primary, secondary, and sidebar colors.
1. Primary Color
  1. Changes the color of active sidebar buttons, links, and action buttons.
2. Secondary Color
  1. Changes the color of inactive sidebar buttons.
3. Sidebar Color
  1. Changes the color of the sidebar throughout Cosmos.
Your logo and colors will now be visible throughout the Cosmos app.

Your headers, your intranet

Newsroom’s name doesn’t fit your company narrative? Don’t worry; you can change it in a blink of an eye.

We’ll walk you through Newsroom’s example, but this can be done for People Network and Space Station as well.

Navigate to Newsroom’s icon in the sidebar and select.
Navigate to the edit button in the bottom right corner, and select.
Navigate to Header Design, and select.
Change the Title and Subtitle.
Navigate to the Header background and select Edit header.
Choose a source for your new header image:
1. Unsplash - a library of stock photos.
2. Link - link an image from the Internet.
3. Attachments - select a Confluence page where you’ll upload your future header image.
4. Color - pick a solid color or create a gradient color.
Adjust the image and zoom in and out if needed.
Save changes.
Your logo and colors will now be visible throughout the Cosmos app.
