#1 Activate Under Construction Mode
While setting up Cosmos – Intranet for Confluence, you can activate "Under Construction" mode to hide changes from employees until everything is ready.
This step is optional but recommended for a smooth transition. Using a sandbox environment for setup and testing is also a helpful strategy.
Steps to activate the Under Construction mode
From your Confluence navigation bar, access Cosmos by selecting it from the Apps dropdown.
Within Cosmos, proceed to the Settings area.
In the Settings menu, locate and click on General Settings.
Within General Settings, click on the Under Construction tab.
Toggle the feature to "On" to activate the Under Construction mode.
Enter a title for your Under Construction page that clearly indicates the ongoing development.
Provide a brief description to inform users about the current status and what they can expect.
If available, link to a page or resource where users can find more details or estimated timelines for completion.
Once Under Construction mode is enabled, only Confluence admins can access and set up Cosmos. All other users will see the custom Under Construction page.
