Resync

In case you have issue links prior to the installation of Linksy that you would like to sync with the field(s) you can use Resync.

Resync will go through all issues and check for Jira links matching the link type and JQL of the field and add linked issue to the field.

1. Select “Resync” from the actions menu

2. Select a context config to Resync to
   
   

   Open

   

   1. Fields with contexts having all projects or all issue types can take a while to resync - plan accordingly and reduce the context before resyncing

3. Press “Start resync” to start the resync task
   
   

   Open

   

   1. ‘Keep existing field values’ allows you to configure how resyncing should be performed

   2. Resync task will be performed in the backend - you can leave the dialog and come back to it at any time to check the progress or cancel the task
