Configure catalog banner

Catalog banners are defined on a catalog level. Each catalog can have a different design and can be configured through the catalog configuration.

To access the catalog banner configuration, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Manage Apps in the sidebar.

  2. Select Shoppie from the list of apps.

  3. Go to Configuration.

  4. Click on Catalog Configuration.

  5. Open the Catalog Design tab.

In the Catalog Design tab, you will find options to edit and preview the catalog banner.

If no catalog banner design is configured the default catalog banner will be displayed.

Editing catalog banner

In the Layout tab, you can customize the banner's layout, image, and text. For the background fill, you have the option to choose a solid color using a color picker or to select an image as the background. When choosing an image, you can either select one from Unsplash or upload your own image via URL.

In the Content tab, you can edit the title, text, and select which products to display in the banner. You can edit the title of the static banner and modify the text that appears on it. Additionally, you can choose which products to display in the product cards section. For product management, you have the option to rearrange products in the list to control the order in which they appear.

General Styling

General styling allows you to apply a consistent design at the site level, ensuring all created catalogs share the same panel design.

You can choose a simple design that aligns with Atlassian's native style or opt for a styled panel with a background image. Once updated, the design will be applied uniformly across all panels.

On a category level, it is only possible to change the content for the panel with header, title and desciption.
