Set Cosmos dashboard as Confluence homepage
Selecting an appropriate space
Identify an existing space within your Confluence that aligns with the purpose of a central company space OR create a new space and name it Confluence Dashboard.
This space should ideally contain content relevant to a wide range of users and serve as a hub for key information.
Modifying the overview page
Go to the Overview page, which is the default landing page of any Confluence space.
Rename the Overview page to "Dashboard" or another preferred title that describes its purpose.
Once renamed, this new title "Dashboard" will appear in the top navigation bar of your Confluence site.
It's important to note that this title will be positioned to the left of the Confluence Home tab.
This change means that users will be directly taken to the "Dashboard" page whenever they log in or click on the site logo, making it the new starting point of their Confluence experience.
Adding the Cosmos - Embed Dashboard macro
Integrate the "Cosmos - Embed Dashboard" macro.
Save macro and publish the page.
Setting the overview page as the Confluence homepage:
Go to "Confluence Administration."
Click on "Further Configuration."
Select "Edit" at the top right corner of the page.
In the "Site Homepage" dropdown, choose the space that now contains the "Dashboard" verview page.
Confirm and save your changes.
After completing these changes, it's important to allow a short interval for the system to apply the updates. This brief pause ensures that the renaming and new settings are fully integrated across the Confluence platform.
