Announcements
The Announcements module is ideal for sharing key news and upcoming events. With flexible layouts and more options than standard announcements, it ensures important messages stand out.
Templates
Creating Announcements starts by selecting a template.
All templates are designed by Caelor’s team to provide a modern and consistent look across pages. New templates are added regularly to expand the library and keep content fresh.
Admins and users with the special permissions can customize templates with their own colors and styles, then save them to the Module Library for others to reuse.
Configuration
All templates include two types of settings: shared settings that apply to all cards, and individual settings shown for the selected item.
Shared settings
Shared settings are available when no Announcement is selected. These settings apply to all Announcements and provide a consistent layout and appearance across the set.
Display elements
Available display elements vary by template and may include subtext, arrow, date, location, time, participants, icon and link text. These elements can be enabled or disabled for all Cards.
Available elements depend on the selected template.
Styling options
Shared styling options include corner rounding and colors.
Colors follow a two-color system using background and text colors to ensure consistency across light and dark modes and alignment with the overall design system.
Available colors are managed through the Caelor Style guide to maintain consistency across all formatting modules.
Individual Settings
Individual settings appear when an Announcement is selected and available options depend on the selected template.
These settings apply only to the selected Announcement.
Content: can be edited directly in preview mode using inline editing.
Images: supported templates allow background images to be added to Announcements.
Links: Announcements can be linked to Confluence pages, external URLs, or email addresses.
Colors: colors can be customized for the selected Card, overriding the shared styling options.
Visuals: supported templates allow adding icons, emojis, and logos.
