Configuration

The Title and Text module come with configuration options that make it easy to adapt their appearance and behavior to fit any use case or align with your company’s branding.

Flexible display elements

The title, text, overline, line and icon can be toggled on or off individually, but at least one must remain visible to ensure a valid module.

Content

While all content in the Title and Text module is edited inline, a single visual element can be added to the left of the title to enhance the design. This is the only part that is configured in the configuration sidebar. Visual elements help bring personality, clarity, or branding to the content.

  • Emoji: Used to add personality and expressiveness to announcements, making content feel more engaging and friendly.

  • Icons: Available from four built-in libraries, offering a wide variety of styles to suit different use cases, from playful to professional.

  • Logos: Part of a dedicated feature connected to the  Optics Style Guide . Allows Confluence admins to upload, manage, and use approved company logos across announcements and other modules.

Inline editing includes an additional feature for text formatting. When part of the content is highlighted, a formatting toolbar appears with options like bold, italic, underline, highlight color, and link. See the image below for an example.

  • Size: You can choose from predefined sizes, Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L), or define a custom size within a range from 1 to 100.
