On this page, you'll discover all about our newest feature, AI in Cards. From the basics to advanced tricks, we've got you covered. Let's see how AI can transform your content creation in Confluence!
Please note that our system Caelor AI operates on the ChatGPT 3.5 Turbo API. Should you wish to use ChatGPT 4.0, kindly reach out to our support team for further assistance.
How to use
Please follow these steps to insert a Cards macro on a Confluence page:
Navigate to the Confluence page you wish to edit or create a new page.
Once in edit mode, either click the plus icon in the navigation bar (insert elements) or press '/' on your keyboard to bring up the macro list.
Type "Optics" in the search bar, then choose the Announcements macro from the options displayed.
When the configuration dialog opens, it guides you through customizing cards, with a live preview showing changes in real-time. Once you're satisfied, click Save to add the button to your Confluence page. If you decide not to proceed, clicking Cancel will cancel the setup without inserting the macro.
To create cards on a Confluence page using AI:
When opening the Cards macro dialogue, find the prompt request field at the bottom to add instructions for card creation. Character limit is 250.
Choose your desired design options and style for the output. When using ChatGPT, the cards will adopt the design settings specified in the left sidebar, including alignment, type, style, rounding, etc.
Use AI-related output options such as output language, tone, and icons/emojis.
Add and send instructions. It can take up to 30 seconds to get results.
Once the cards are created, make adjustments, link cards, modify colors, icons, and content as needed.
What you need to know
Making manual changes before activating chatGPT will result in those changes being overridden. Once chatGPT is engaged, all existing content will be replaced.
Once cards are generated using chatGPT, it is not possible to provide additional instructions to modify the existing cards. Each new prompt will generate new content, separate from any previously created cards.
Users are restricted to generating a maximum of 10 prompts within a 10-minute window. Upon reaching this limit, a 10-minute cooldown period is initiated, during which users are unable to send new prompts. It's important to note that this restriction applies individually to each user and does not affect other users within the same instance.
